‘I almost committed suicide after converting to Islam’ – Janet Jackson reveals

SISTER to the late legendary pop icon and music artist Michael Jackson was last month reported to be quitting the entertainment industry because of her new religion.
Janet who is married to Qatari  Muslim billionaire Wissam Al-Manna  disclosed that she almost committed suicide because of the restrictions and burden her new life and religion brought upon her saying it was not an easy transformation.
According to MTV News, she revealed that she had been deprived of everything in life as she could not listen to music, drive a car, wear designer clothes but only the ‘Black Abaya’ and could not even move outside her residential home in Doha as she was always  surrounded by heavily-armed security men.
Janet said her new song feat J. Cole , ‘No Sleep’ says it all from her marriage about the difficulties involved in adapting to her new life, the stress involved in being a Muslim wife and the regrets she had due to the choices she made.

In another news, Jackson patriarch, Joe Jackson, recently suffered a stroke after taking three Viagra pills in San Paulo, Brazil

'Shades of Glory' -Simone Biles

Simone Biles’ Biological Mom Slams The Family For Exposing Dark, Drug-Fueled Past - 'I'VE GOTTEN BETTER'

Simone Biles‘ biological mother fought back against the U.S. gymnast’s grandparents this week for revealing her troubled past on TV, telling her side of the story in a new scathing video.
As Radar exclusively reported, Shanon Biles, struggled with drugs and alcohol, and subsequently signed away parental rights to 19-year-old Simone and her little sister, Adria, in 2000. Maternal grandparents Ron and Nellie promptly adopted the young sisters, then just 3 years and a newborn, and have cared for them ever since.

Shanon has been arrested at least 20 times over the past 20 years — once when she was pregnant with Simone — for crimes including assault, theft, disorderly conduct, driving under the influence and drug paraphernalia possession.

But now, the 44-year-old claims she’s been sober for nine years, finding her father Ron‘s recent interview with NBC on her dark past utterly offensive.

“I feel like they’re defaming my character,” Shanon seethed in her video message. “I was struggling back then but I’ve gotten better. . .He didn’t have to be so harsh about it. He could’ve been a little bit more classy with it. He didn’t have to put me under the bus.”

Shanon claimed that she speaks to Simone “maybe every three months,” and the pair has been on vacation together a few times in the past.

“Life goes on, and that’s my past,” she added. “That’s what it should be left at — the past.”

Simone’s mother also wished her daughter good luck in the Olympics this year, saying:“I just want to say I love you, Simone. I’m so proud of you! Go Team USA and I’ll talk to you and see you when I can!”

Rio2016: Simone - The First Black Woman To Win individual Olympic Swimming Gol

Simone Manuel, 20, has made history for the U.S., setting a new Olympic record in the 100-m freestyle and becoming the first black woman to win an individual swimming gold.
She is also the first American to win the 100m freestyle since the 1984 Olympics.
After her race, the teary-eyed Stanford University student, said:
‘This medal is not just for me, it’s for a whole bunch of people who have come before me and have been an inspiration to me,’ Manuel said.
And it’s for all the people after me who believe you can’t do it,’ she added, getting emotional as she basked in the glory of victory. I just want to be an inspiration to others that you can do it.’

She said that while she was proud to become the first American black woman to medal in an individual swimming event, she hoped to get to a stage when race was no longer even an issue in the sport.
I’m super glad that I can be an inspiration to others and hopefully diversify the sport,’ she said ‘But at the same time, I would like there to be a day where there are more of us and it’s not like ‘Simone, the black swimmer,’ because the title ‘black swimmer’ makes it seem like I’m not supposed to be able to win a gold medal.’
Manuel tied for first place with Canadian teenager Penny Oleksiak in an Olympic record time of 52.70 seconds.

VIN DIESEL VS. THE ROCK (UPDATES)

Crew SaysONE'S A NICE GUY ... ONE'S NOT
The crew has chosen sides in the "Fast 8" feud between The Rock and Vin Diesel ... and Rock wins, hands down.
Production sources tell TMZ, The Rock has been upset with Vin's work ethic for a long time, and he's not alone. Members of the crew tell us Vin was often 30 minutes to an hour late to shoot scenes ... and it wasn't because he was late to the set -- he was simply in his trailer and wouldn't come out.
We're told Vin didn't like Monday 7 AM calls so production was forced to make the start time 10 AM to accommodate him.
And the crew felt Vin's arrogance was out of control, especially because he had a producer title. We're told he wouldn't listen to anyone and would goad people, including The Rock, by criticizing their acting.
The crew has a vastly different view of The Rock. They say he's the ultimate professional who is always on time and always nails his scenes. They also say he's easy to work with.
As we reported, Vin and Rock have been clashing for a long time and it came to a head Monday when Rock exploded on social media, calling out a male co-star (it's Vin) for being unprofessional.
And as we told you, Vin confronted Rock Tuesday in Rock's trailer, but their issues remain unresolved.

Fast and Furious 8 updates

The Rock laments

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who plays the character of Luke Hobbs in hit franchise, Fast and Furious took to his Instagram page yesterday to call out his male co-stars. He accused them of being unprofessional and 'candy asses'. While the 44-year-old actor didn't mention names, the movie has a stellar cast which includes Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese, Jason Statham and Scott Eastwood. None of the aforementioned have commented on the post but insiders now say that the guys are very annoyed, especially as there's still a week and a half to go until filming wraps.

Mother and son face jail time for incestuous relationship

A mother and son from Clovis, New Mexico are facing some serious jail time since it was discovered that the two were having an incestuous relationship.

Monica Mares, 36, and Caleb Peterson, 19, face up to 18 months in jail if the couple is found guilty of incest later this year, but the couple say they are in love with each other and will go to jail to protect their relationship.
The two, who were estranged for almost 20 years, are not denying their incestuous relationship. Instead they want to be allowed to be together and are even asking people to donate money to their legal fund.

The mother of 9 gave birth to her son Caleb, whose birth name is Carlos, when she was only 16 but gave him up for adoption. He is very familiar with her other children, her 2 youngest children even call him 'Dad'

The couple say they have gone public with their affair in a bid to raise awareness of Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) relationships, which is defined as sexual attraction between close relatives, such as siblings or half-siblings.
“He is the love of my life and I don't want to lose him. My kids love him, my whole family does. Nothing can come between us. Not courts, or jail, nothing,” Mares told the Daily Mail.
“I have to be with him. When I get out of prison, I will move out of Clovis to a state that allows us to be together.”
Unfortunately for Mares, who is the mother of nine and said she would give up rights to see them if it meant she could be with Peterson, incest is a crime in all 50 U.S. states – although the penalties vary greatly from state to state.

The couple who live separately and are legally banned from having contact with each other began their relationship about a year ago after the two tracked each other down via Facebook.

Mares and Peterson say that after they met up they developed feelings for each other and it wasn’t long until the relationship turned sexual.
“It felt like I met somebody new in my life and I fell in love with him,” Mares said. “At first I told him, "I'm sorry I don't know how you are going to react to this. I'm your mom and you're my son, but I'm falling in love with you."
She said he then told her the feelings were mutual.
“He was falling in love with his mom and I was falling in love with my son,” she added. “We talked about it and we took off to the park. I said, ‘Would you ever date your mom?’ And he said: ‘Would you ever date your son?’ And I said, ‘Honest truth yes, I would.’”
While the two were able to live in incestuous bliss for a while, living together in Mares’ mobile home with her two youngest children, an argument between the family and some neighbors eventually led to their relationship becoming public knowledge.
“Honestly I never thought we would get into trouble for our relationship. We were both consenting adults, when it comes down to it,”
Peterson said.
“She's adult. I'm an adult. I can make my own decisions. I never thought it would blow up into something like this.”
